Underwhelming

Liked: The staff were all pleasant and professional. Breakfast was great, good options, hot and cold and room was large enough for several families to sit with one another.
Disliked: The room we had was terribly drafty. The bed is not king size in a king sizes studio. There is no comforter for pull out couch and when we asked for one all they could give us was more sheets and a brown coverlet that had a holes in it. The small bathroom had a large vanity squeezed in to an angled wall so you could not reach or stand over the sink - terrible design. We had to ask for too many things from front desk that I expected to find in our room upon arrival ( more blankets, more towels ( 4 of us), dish towels and items to wash our dishes etc .

Superb

Liked: The hotel is extremely clean with well equipped rooms and comfortable beds. We found the staff were very competent and very friendly and helpful. The complimentary buffet breakfast was fresh and thoughtfully laid out. The food staff were ready with smiles to help one find what they needed. The tables in the dining room were cleaned after every client. Another big bonus was having proper mugs, dishes and cutlery to eat from. Recycling bins were also provided. It is wonderful to see that Marriott is forging ahead with environmental consciousness in mind. I will definitely come back to stay here.
Disliked: It is downtown which is usually great except there is a large presence of homeless people in the downtown core. This is not the fault of the hotel obviously. Hopefully there is a community solution soon.
