Highly dissatisfied and disappointed in...

Liked: Room was large and spacious and views were nice. Good location.
Disliked: Was told that the checkin time that I had selected for 03:00-04:00 AM was approved and I even had the email and when we arrived to the property at 4 AM they had said they did not approve that and the room had not been ready but will be around 11 AM. We had food in our car and we had to be at hospital for my sister’s surgery by 4:30 AM so food sat in our car from 4 am cause we e could not drive back home. Called the hotel at 12 PM to check on the room, they were not able to find my reservation or the note that we were checking in around 11 AM, someone had changed my name in the reservation, and the confirmation number I had the man kept saying was wrong until he found it the room was still not ready. Then when we did arrive to the hotel around 3 PM after the surgery, there were dogs howling and barking above our room for the whole two nights we were there. We had complained several time as we could not sleep or find comfort from the noise. Then during the first night at 3 AM the power had gone out from the hurricane so we weren’t able to shower or anything in the hotel during the morning and the complimentary breakfast was unavailability because the power was down. We were not checked on by any staff despite the inconvenience the situation was to the guests, nor did anyone give a time frame of when the power would be on again.
