I recommend staying at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and access to I-40, the Carl Perkins Civic Center and restaurants was perfect!

Liked: HVAC VERY LOUD, annoying! Furniture and mattress lumpy, badly worn, Door frame battered and dirty,Kitchen decent, room during last visit better.Not Marriott level

Disliked: I had a very frustrating experience trying to contact booking.com; I was on hold for over 20 minutes, and when I finally spoke to someone, I felt they weren't able to hear me properly. To make matters worse, I was overcharged.

Left with no reservation, and...

Liked: The hotel canceled my reservation with one days’ notice and left us scrambling to find other accommodations as we traveled cross-country. We are still waiting for our credit card charges to be adjusted, as we were charged even though they canceled us.

Liked: The staff was so nice when we checked in and the lobby was very beautiful
Disliked: The room was dirty. We found food crumbs under the sheets of the beds, the pool was very dirty and unsuimable and the kitchen tiles weren't even attached to the floor they were just loosely sitting on the floor. The hot tub didn't work either. We had said something to the staff and they said they would address it. We found dirty bed sheets on our kitchen counter tops when we arrived also.

Not what we hoped!

Liked: We chose this hotel because it had an indoor pool for the grandkids. We read reviews that the cleaning was marginal (forgot towels, left something behind) I assume managerial staff takes care of these issues. When we arrived the first thing we were greeted with waking into our room was dirty sheets on the counter. How do you miss that? The ice maker in the fridge did not work. Several burned out light bulbs. The pool was cloudy and unusable for young children. A very disappointing experience!
