Wonderful stay for a family...

Liked: The staff, location and amenities were wonderful. Everyone we interacted with were friendly and helpful. We had a minor issue leaving the parking lot at checkout and the front desk staff were able to fix the issue immediately. The breakfast selection was diverse and it was nice to have familiar staples as well as different offerings each day. The convenience of having a full kitchen stocked with cookware and dishware/utensils is wonderful for those staying multiple nights and don't want to throw away leftovers or want to make their own meals. The location is wonderful too. We were there for a convention and the proximity to the convention center cannot be beat. Even with 2 young children in tow, it only took 15-20 minutes to walk there. If you exit from the lower level, you are able to go across the street to the UConn school of business building and go up the stairs for a pedestrian only walkway directly to the convention center and the riverfront.
Disliked: The room had a very faint cigarette smoke odor that we got used to (or it got masked from the food we were cooking) but it was unpleasant for the first night.
