Not terrible for the price

Liked: The front desk was very friendly and accommodating. I showed up sick and wanted to upgrade to a 1 bd suite, so we had a bit of separation if needed. They upgraded us at no charge. I booked 2 rooms. A 2bd 2bth suite and a 1 bedroom. The 2bd 2 bth was for my kids. It was very spacious and they had plenty of room. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!!! We loved Addison, and the location of our hotel was perfect. We could walk to many restaurants.
Disliked: They are a pet friendly hotel. We saw SEVERAL dogs LARGE dogs while we were there. Our first room had a smell (animal urine)???? And the refrigerator was so loud we had to unplug it. They gave us a new room with no hassle. The 2nd room was better. The couch is very hard and not very comfortable to sit and relax on. The separation of the living room and bedroom was nice. The lighting in the bathroom is terrible!!! No overhead light, just a light behind the mirror. The breakfast was definitely lacking, but nothing was terrible. It's a free continental, can't complain too much. All in all, it's just an older hotel that needs some updating and maybe a pet policy change.
