Disliked: Checking in took one and half hours because they were not familiar with the Reservation Number.

Loved the room. Very spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. I would definitely stay again next time I attend a concert at the Q. The staff was very helpful and friendly also.

Liked: I loved being able to walk across the street to get to Quicken Loans Arena.

Liked: The location was perfect for an event at rocket mortgage field house.
Disliked: Parking is expensive (valet or parking garage).Check-in was 4pm. We were not able to get into our room until after 5:30 because they were still cleaning rooms. The only reason we got in at 5:30 was because we agreed to take a queen suite instead of the king suite we reserved.

Overall it was alright

Liked: Most of the staff was friendly & easy to talk to. Breakfast was good. Rooms were clean & nice.
Disliked: Check in time was at 4 i got there at 420 & was put on a list because the rooms were still being cleaned. Didn't get to check in until alil after 7. They said they would call but I had to call them.

Disliked: The entire experience. I didn't get the room I reserved. The room smelt like dog urine. I asked to get moved to a room with no carpet but was told all rooms had carpet and no other rooms were available. I was also told that if I leave half of my money would still be taken, which forced me to stay. My room didn't have an outside window view. It was a view looking inside at shops. Getting to the room was extremely difficult, on the 3rd floor, but it was on a 2nd floor level. There's no free hotel parking. Parking was 42 US dollars. Which is insane! Where should I park my vehicle if I stay at a hotel? Parking should be free! The first time I've ever been disappointed in Marriott! The picture I provided was me looking out of my hotel room window.

Liked: Very close to the event we were attending which was convenient. Staff was very nice
Disliked: Never received the coffee pot we requested. Needs updated and the room could use some paint….all doors in the room.

Disliked: Our room was a considerable walk away from the lobby, literally in a different building. 2 separate elevators needed.The lady at the front desk had an attitude that was far from professional for a service industry.I’ve supervised, managed and directed employees for 30+ years, and would have terminated this persons employment on the spot.
