Liked: Breakfast was very good! Would have liked to see different hot items for Sunday morning. The sitting area was very nice and comfortable!!
Disliked: Be nice to have a waffle machine maybe.

The worst experience ever and...

Disliked: This was the worst experience I’ve ever experienced staying in a hotel. I arrived to checkin at 4pm after I had called and stopped in for an earlier checkin and was told they wouldn’t be able to accommodate me and the rooms would be ready for check in. Only one room was available and I had arrived at 4:30pm, the front desk clerk was not willing to provide any accommodation for the inconvenience that was caused. She stated you booked through a third party. She did not represent the Marriott brand at all in my opinion and later clarified that by saying this is a Residence Inn not the Courtyard (I had no clue it was a scaling difference between the services). The hotel furniture was dirty, warped and rigged (I wouldn’t send my grand-dogs there), the headboard had grease stains that were visible and the tv stand had dust everywhere.

Two incredible front desk ladies!!!!!!!

Liked: The two front desk ladies were the absolute BEST!! We gave them a bit of a challenge, not meaning too! They went above and beyond! These two wonderful ladies were Venus and Lalena! They deserve employees of the year!! Can't say enough good o for these two!
Disliked: The only thing for me was the garlic smell in the room but I adapted and overcame it!

My stay was pleasant.

Liked: For the money in today's economy, this was decent. This is an older property that is in need of an upgrade which would equate to more money in the long run. However, the staff were one of the most personable I've encountered in Cleveland!
Disliked: The fitness center is very small. The rooms are old. Rent a car to be mobile for restaurants and shopping - not in walking distance if you're traveling in late fall through spring.
