Dirty carpets very bad smell...

Liked: Location (5-10 min walk to hospital) Big rooms and kitchen Allow bring pets for additional 100 dollars
Disliked: In my room carpets smelled so horrible (very stinky). Mattress was so hard I woke up 3 times during the night, pillows very uncomfortable. Staff in the reception does not care about customers at all. Very independent ones. I asked my wake up call- no one bother to call me about (1 time in whole my life it happened).

Location, location, location, and comfort.

Liked: Stayed at the Residence Inn in 2020 just before The Lockdown & Pandemic to prepare for a medical procedure. Wow! What a difference! The property has been buffed out! It has had an upgrade! The room I had on 11/1/24 with a king bed was very comfortable. The staff were supportive and friendly: Especially Jewel on the front desk & Lamont in the dining room for breakfast.
Disliked: I would suggest that the carpet be replaced in room 916.

Liked: Clean convenient comfortable
Disliked: The room rate was high. I was told that to extend one night that it would cost $150. The next day I was told $220. When i booked it turned out to be $255!!! I could have booked online for less. That ruined my stay

Disliked: The staff was very rude especially the overnight staff

Liked: Close to John's Hopkins hospital.
Disliked: No vending machines

Liked: The gentleman helping out in the breakfast area was so cheery and helpful, clearing plates immediately and keeping the whole area very clean, that it made for a great start to my whole day. I wish I had caught his name, but he was great!
