The best thing is the...

Liked: The location is great. A walking distance from the Louvre, Moulin Rouge and Montmartre. It doesn't get much better than that. The hotel is reasonably affordable compared to other hotels in Paris in that area. The staff was nice and the room was cleaned every day. The hotel has a certain charm.
Disliked: The hotel is old and that's noticable. The toilet seat, sink and bathtub were yellow because of how old they are. There were some hairs in the bathtub when we arrived, so that was gross. The walls are very thin so if you're a light sleeper maybe skip this hotel.

Liked: The location was perfect about 10 minutes walk from. Gard du nord but away from the crowds. Room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also a good size and the shower was powerful. The receptionist was very friendly and efficient.
Disliked: The paper cups and not very luxurious towels

Liked: Very good location, close to train station, quiet street. Clean rooms, we had a room with balcony on 5th floor!!! Super welcoming reception stuff, we will return when next time in Paris!
