Dropped the ball
Liked: Pretty hotel
Disliked: Night staff very annoyed to be asked for extra blanket At the restaurant we had a group of 9. very rude to our group..told us we were gonna have to move to bar ...fine.. 2 seconds later turn back to a female in the group and say leave or I'll call security..when I spoke up...tells me you ain't gonna scare me from my restaurant..never waited on us we had to go to the bar to ask for anything...and he would have received a 300 400 dollar tip as we spent a few hundred in the restaurant. Was my daughter's college graduation dinner...should be fired..a very liberal...minded restaurant and hotel would not stay there again or recommend to anyone..pretty to look at but the good stops there

Excellent
Liked: The staff was very nice and very helpful. The rooms were clean, very comfortable parking was very convenient, you can walk from your car right into the hotel without being outside.

It was acceptable , room...
Liked: Close to the venue never had to go outside
Disliked: Our room was not clean, there was skittles all over the floor in various spots and chocolate down the coffee table tables

Very pleasant
Liked: We liked that it was right in the middle of everything in downtown Albany, and the restaurant was nice with a good variety of food.
Disliked: The price is high for a room, and the parking costs extra, but that’s what you expect for a central location. The restaurant is understaffed.

Nice quarters, unresponsive and unhelpful...
Liked: Nice rooms, very clean, excellent linens.
Disliked: I booked two rooms, one for myself and one for my parents. At the last minute, my mother wasn't able to travel because of a medical emergency. This meant missing her sister's funeral. I tried to request that my parents' room be refunded (even though it was past the cancellation date) given the extraordinary circumstances, but the front desk told me that I had to take it up with Booking.com since the reservation had been made there. Booking sent a request to the hotel management, but hotel management never bothered to answer that query (or my own direct message).To add insult to injury, the hotel billed me for parking for each room, even though the reservation was supposed to include free parking, and one of the rooms was never even occupied.
