Not thrilled with the nickel...
Liked: The room itself was quite nice. Perfectly clean, comfortable, spacious and attractive. The glass door on the shower was so clean that I had to reach out and touch it to verify that it was actually there.
Disliked: When we checked in, we were given a voucher for $30 worth of "free" goods at the restaurant. We thought, "Well that's nice, but we don't have anything we want to buy other than the room itself." Once we went to check out, we were told that the $30 would be added to the cost of the room. Turns out this is something that you have to pay for and use. Basically, a $30 fee simply because "they can". I told them that I believed booking.com already charged me for this and we'd paid for it. No, I was told. This is something else. Pretty annoyed by this, but we had a schedule to keep and couldn't spend all day arguing with the staff. Once we got home, my wife looked into it and booking.com HAD already charged us this $30. I'm married to a pit bull and my wife called the hotel and kept getting passed around till she finally got a very nice and understanding man who agreed that we had already paid for this and he refunded that $30 (plus tax).Ok, nice that this was resolved, but I find it very annoying that you have to go through this, and I'm sure 90% of customers simply don't bother. Why isn't this automatic?

Shit service!
Disliked: The staff told us to pay the additional cost - resort fee at the counter when we about to check in, which we already paid the full price via Booking.com. But at that time, I did not know I paid the full amount.The male staff then mentioned he would charge two fees in total, 1) the deposit, 2) resort fee, then swiped the credit card, but we did not know the exact amount he gonna charge us, as the total amount was not shown on the credit card screen at all. The deposit will be returned once check out. At the time, we were so confused about the resort fee, but we had no choice to pay then. After checking, we did pay the full amount including the resort fee via booking.com.It was the man who was so incompetent to check if we paid the additional cost or not, he was so insist to get credit card swiped. We back to the counter, and explained the whole situation to the lady, she just said “uh it’s not charged with the resort fee.” What a misleading communication from this hotel! Then on Day 2, when we back to hotel at night, we found a foldable mattress in our room which we did not request at all! Called to the front desk, it ended up they collected the foldable mattresses on the next day (which they said they would pickup right away on the evening). When we check out, the counter printed out the bill with “$ 0” charges. Days after, we even got an unexpected charge from this damn hotel. Very poor customer service! Very unprofessional and unorganized hotel.

Disliked: Everything was a hassle. Staff wasn’t very helpful with info. Valet parking only. Had to use a garage that I found on my own. Resort fees that were not mentioned during booking.
