Beautiful hotel; front desk staff was very efficient when checking in a long line of customers. Room was comfortable and clean. Great location! Easy access to alot of local entertainment, stores, eateries, etc. Great experience for our first stay at this hotel. Would highly recommend.

Con - I requested, reserved and paid for a club room through ConcertHotels, but when I got to the front desk the staff had no knowledge of the premium request (lack of proper communication between ConcertHotels and the Renaissance). The front desk staff was able to accommodate the request however once I showed my itinerary. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally professional and helpful. The location can't be beat. Valet parking as mentioned earlier is expensive, but there are nearby self-parking alternatives which are much less expensive if you don't mind parking your own car.

Disliked: Miscommunication between ConcertHotels and Renaissance.

Lots of maintenance issues
Liked: Location was amazing
Disliked: Carpet was dirty, had to move rooms twice one was dirty, the other HVAC was broken third room remote was not working maintenance came and took care of that problem Your elevator is too far away from the rooms

Initial contact harsh, animinities downhill...
Liked: Front desk were friendly and kind.
Disliked: No more valet parking. Parking was complicated. Probably quite difficult for elderly. Thought we would have a harbor view. Thought we would have free breakfast. Called ahead to confirm, staff complained about third party booking and again at check in. Trim was pulled out in 8th floor. Stayed there years ago. Customer Service was impeccable. Went down hill since. No one helped with luggage was rushed and spoken too about moving the car and not having valet parking. Staff was crass and treated us like vagrants, making initial contact very stressful.
