Disappointing
Liked: First room we checked in to smelt smoky. Slept in both beds in our second room and both were so squishy we felt like we were sleeping in a taco. Bell staff and front desk staff were great!. Paying $25 to self park is outrageous. Asked for extra towels from front desk and they never came.

Waste of extra spending on...
Liked: Their location was good. The staff was courteous. Rooms were clean.
Disliked: Breakfast was awful....!!.Maybe one grade above or equal to a continental breakfast that you get for free, you had to pay $20. They also charge $25/day for parking your car in their lot. There was no mention of that in Their advertisement for Booking. Also for the price, you would expect at least a bottle of complimentary water in the room upon checking in. No water in the room.The extra charge for parking every day and cost-cutting techniques every day are visible and bad enough not to book with them next time.

Good accommodations and great location
Liked: Great location, clean accommodations, easy access to surrounding Asheville attractions. And friendly staff.
Disliked: The hotel could do with some updates. New paint in the elevators, new caulking in the bathrooms, updating the wallpaper, some pieces of wood were chipped on some of the furniture pieces. Just overall general updates. Will bring this hotel back to its former glory.

Liked: Location
Disliked: Not knowing the hotel was still in repair stages from the hurricane in Sept.! Pool and hot tub shut down for unknown reasons and no one working to repair! All parts of the hotel are dirty! That it was being used for housing of displaced people and there pets from hurricane by FEMA! If we would have known all this, we would have looked elsewhere!

There to visit Biltmore during...
Liked: We were able to check in very early since we got to town much sooner than expected.The front desk staff were always welcoming and pleasant.The self parking was very easy....there is a fee, but it it much more than makes up for the convenience of being able to WALK EVERYWHERE in town easily. We only had to move the car to take our hikes and explore other local areas.The breakfast and staff were amazing.The lobby bar was well stocked and staffed.
Disliked: Nothing. It exceeded our expectations.
