Disappointing

Liked: A very polite and helpful gentleman served for breakfast. Our respect to him.
Disliked: The room requires full renovation. Spots on the walls, broken furniture, wrenched out lock, cracked chairs cover, AC controls with unrecognisable interface that doesn’t give you any understanding if it works or not.

Exactly what I expected and...

Liked: I've stayed at this hotel before - it's always good value for money. The property is getting a bit old but it is generally well maintained, clean and tidy and the staff are always helpful. Handy to the metro for getting around. All round a happy experience and will be happy to stay again next time.

Liked: I suspect the only positive thing about our stay in this hotel was the fact we had the rooftop pool to ourselves. The receptionist was quite helpful directing me to a safe place to park my motorcycle.
Disliked: Breakfast was a carbohydriates nightmare. cakes, cakes, bread and more cakes. Expected a small selection of different cheeses, cold meats and some eggs. The restaurant which served both local and Indian food thought would be a bit different. I was yet again disappointed. I ordered a small plain naan, basmati rice and extra portion of fresh coriander to go with my Lamb Madras. The naan bread(s) came out within minutes and there was a basketful of mixed naan bread, plain and garlic (which I didnt order). I expected the dish to arrive but I had to wait 15 minutes for that. When my dish was served which by now was changed to a Rogan Josh, I asked where is the fresh coriander? Oh, he said. "We ran out a few days ago and now its out of season". WHAT. An Indian restaurant without fresh coriander. The waiter could see I wasnt pleased and he speed off to the kitchen and returned with a small bowl of chopped dried coriander. By then I was only to pleased to hurridily eat the rice and the curry and leave the restaurant.
