Day trip yes stay over...

Liked: Beautiful building, spa lovely
Disliked: Bed very uncomfortable worst I’ve slept in pillows awful didn’t sleep all night felt like I was laying on a table. Such a shame considering it’s a beautiful building just one let down but a massive let down almost went home.

Lovely 2 day break

Liked: Comfy beds. Enjoyed the pool and other leisure facilities. Food was good. Staff were helpful. Good value for money.
Disliked: Room was a bit tired looking. Lots of scuffs on walls and in need of a repaint. Bathroom door obviously damaged due to water. Very warm room. Next to lift so could hear humming of lift at intervals through the night. Only 1 bedside light so had to have full room light on to read at night.

Disliked: Drinks very expensive, fried breakfast cold.

Liked: Friendly staff . Easy access to local attractions
Disliked: Far bigger hotel than I expected. Not great for relaxed visit as really too busy & noisy

First impression was great but...

Liked: Excellent room size. Great facilities - pool, sauna. Kids loved it. Breakfast was simple but good. Ample parking available. Good base for exploring if you have a car. Bunnies available as well
Disliked: There were items missing in our room which we would expect - for example shoehorn and toilet brush. The room was "cleaned" during our stay but on occasion no glasses were cleaned or bins emptied. Also some issues with the walls - they were filled but not painted. Restaurant menu was really basic
