Great work trip that felt...

Liked: We have stayed at several hotels in Birmingham over the past couple years but the Redmont has become our favorite stay. We had a similar great experience at another Curio property in Midtown Atlanta for my wife's 50th Birthday. We now seek out the Curio brand when making travel plans. The proximity of the property to excellent restaurants within walking distance
Disliked: The favorite part of the property is the roof top deck. its our favorite routine to grab a drink and watch sunset before we walk to dinner. Hilton should continue to make this space a "shiny penny". Older properties are tough and expensive to maintain but the character cannot be matched. a reno of the rootop bar would be the only thing I would change.Parking sucks there but the hotel seems to manage it as best as possible.

Liked: The lobby is nice, and the bathrooms in the rooms are nice.
Disliked: Valet was not readily available, neighbor was slamming the door, room smelled a little musty and breakfast was not served until the time advertised.
