We had a very enjoyable...

Liked: The room was excellent, the breakfast was superb and the evening meals delicious. The location is very good too. It is easy to get to very nice places. We stayed in November and Batsford Arboretum, which is very close, is wonderful at this time of year with the late Autumn colours. Stow and Bourton on the Water are only a short drive away.

A most enjoyable and relaxing...

Liked: Excellent helpful courteous staff. Room very well equipped with tea, coffee, lovely biscuits and much appreciated sherry! Huge bed! Lovely food available throughout the day and comfy leather wing chairs by the roaring fire in the bar. Secure parking if a bit tight and plenty more in the close vicinity. A short walk to station for guests who come by train.
Disliked: An extra chair would be appreciated. And perhaps a small stool in bathroom. Generous coffee/milk sachets had to be tipped out of the attractive mugs whenever a hot drink was made!
