Pretty good value for the...

Liked: Towels and sheets were clean (some a bit stained). Intake staff and housekeeping staff were courteous. Shower was good. You can see that the hotel is working on renovations. Despite several bad reviews, we had no problems, saw no bugs. Nice vantage point nearby by car to view the skyline and the Statue of Liberty.
Disliked: Bed was comfortable, but we prefer a foam to a spring mattress. The morning desk staff was inattentive to the point of rudeness. Hotel isn't close to the airport, but is close to the NJ Turnpike. Coffee wasn't good, and the fitness centre looks to be closed for the long term. I also didn't like the $50 security deposit we were required to pay on arrival, but it was refunded in a few days.

Disliked: Be advised!!! Roaches all over the room. Dirty curtains. Stains. I wish I could attach the videos...
