No Hot Water

Disliked: Had booked for this stay as an extra day, but I canceled it and left the hotel due to unacceptable customer service and the fact that the hotel didn't have hot water. There were no discounts or comp stays issued. The staff said that they were charging full price and that it was up to the customer if they wanted to stay there. You can't operate a hotel without hot water, because it's against the law, but apparently this hotel does whatever it wants to take people's money.

Zero Customer Service Skills

Disliked: Front desk staff is not professional. The misconstrue information and have zero customer service skills. I stood in line to renew my room key and watched two different staff people argue with paying customers about issues in their rooms. I was there to renew my key because at 10AM the key no longer works, even though the listed check-out time is 11AM. Just overall bad customer service and experience.

Red Roof Inn "3rd party"...

Disliked: They use a third party company that says they are affiliated with "Red Roof Inn" to book rooms. The company charges hidden fees and even gives you the option of paying online before you get to the hotel for your "ease and comfort". However, it's just a hold and you have to pay again when you get to the hotel. So you are actually paying double for the room. You then have to call the third party company and beg and plead with them to release the bogus hold and that's when they completely lie and say that the hold was for "administrative fees". It's a complete raquet, and you will only notice the double charge if you are paying attention to your account.

It was a wonderful day.

Liked: The rooms are super clean, spacious and well ventilated. The bathroom is so nice. The staff is so friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: It's great, clean, and was a great value
Disliked: Some people smoke around the property even though it is a non-smoking property. And the microwave is one of those old styles with the knob and timer which is hard to use
