Disappointing

Liked: Staff were very nice. Checking in and out was fast and efficient.
Disliked: I hate giving this place such a low rating as the staff were extremely friendly and helpful but the room and facilities were just overall sub-par and not what we expected based on the price we paid. There are some really dodgy people hanging around the parking lot, one guy revved his engine for around 20min just outside our window in the middle of the night. The room is very dark and dingy and smelled of cold smoke. We had booked for four people but the beds were only set up for two.

Liked: First time I walked into a hotel room with hard floors. It smelled like bleach but I get the fact that we are post COVID. I am a smoker and I are inappreciate that non-smokers find it disgusting. I don't smoke in my house or my car. They had signs posted everywhere about a 30 ft rule from doors and usable windows. I stayed far away but noticed that the ashtray was right next to the door. Also didn't seem like the best part of town and the outside doors were wide open the whole night. It was a cheap hotel room. Not unsatisfied but not really happy with it. The room was clean seemed like it was updated recently. I was disappointed by the fact that the front office was closed from 11:00 to 8:00 a.m..

The hotel was clean and...

Liked: The room has been remodeled and was very clean. No smoke smell. Comfortable. The bathroom was very clean. There was no breakfast so I can't comment on that. No Veterans discount.
Disliked: Halls smelled like old smoke in a no-smoking facility. Perhaps the renovation has not reached the halls yet. I did not find an elevator.
