This was our second stay...

Liked: The location was very important for us because we were attending the junior college basketball championships located at Herkimer College 5 minutes from the hotel. We did not try the complimentary breakfast.
Disliked: The main negative was the metal bed frames, which make a loud drum-like noise under certain conditions. We think these frames should be modernized. In addition, the area next to the dumpsters seemed a little sketchy at times although it was reasonably well lit at night.

Ok room for one night.

Liked: Clean. Beds were ok. Room 124 has you enter directly onto tile, no rug, which is bad in the winter. We apparently backed up to a highway. Rooms are not sound proofed, upstairs neighbor came in late and blasted TV several hours. Outside lighting of horseshoe shaped parking lot was excellent. Felt very safe.
Disliked: See above under likes. Breakfast was ok. Dry cereals, prepackaged hard boiled eggs, English muffins and bagels. Juice and coffee, yogurt. Walking by bedroom door into bath was very cold on the tile. Carpet only under the beds. Trains started up around 7 when st breakfast, or maybe didn't hear from our room.
