Not a bad place, but...

Liked: Easy check in and check out. Friendly staff. Shower pressure was great!
Disliked: The bed was AWFUL and I'm not saying that just because it was either to hard or to soft... It was AWFUL because it was so over used, maybe old, broken springs. When you lay on it you hear and feel the springs crunching and it's a King bed but laying on it you kinda go towards the edge because over time it molded that way I assume... We went there for a night out for some good rest and I kept waking up every hr on the hr with pain in different areas from the bed. It was just not comfortable. I'm sure at one point it was, but not anymore i dont know if it was meant to be firm or even a pillowtop but was just horrible. Should have been thrown out a long time ago... Definitely needs UPDATES!! Also there were no pictures on wall you can see every spot they have repaired. Or are repairing... It was very blah and not what you expect a hotel or motel to look like.... IT NEEDS TO BE REDONE!!Some areas were not vacuumed near the bed which is only carpet in there. Also little dust near the phones. They say you get what you pay for. Well, a few months back we stayed in Portsmouth at a Howard Johnson granted it was only a queen room, but we paid $10 less and the room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable... We stayed here (red roof) because we wanted to be closer to Family, otherwise we would have just went back to the other place.I'm sure with a little wall art, new bed and some small updates the Red Roof Inn would be GREAT!
