Liked: Breakfast was adequate, with varity of choices. Desk staff was friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Room felt damp. Metal lamps were rusted and pieces of lamp shades were hanging down due to rusted metal parts. Water standing on desk surface. Tub drain was nasty, not cleaned out. Floor was very dirty, didn't appear to have been cleaned.Breakfast area was not being tended to, with spills and dropped food all over counters. Staff never came to wipe areas.

Liked: My first room was horrible, and I requested another room after I saw bugs on the wall up near the ceiling. I think we call them beatles or stink bugs in the south but there was no way I was staying in that room with them. The front desk had no qualms about moving me to the back of the building. He was kind and polite. The second room was very nice and honestly, what is in the photo reviews and what I expected. Even the mattress was good. The first mattress really needed to be trashed! It was bad. Very bad. It was very worn out, saggy, and squeaky, and would've made for a long, long night. I was very disappointed in the room on the front of the hotel! Both rooms had a fridge and microwave, only the second one had a small hair dryer, which I was thankful for since I forgot mine. Will I stay there again, no. Would I recommend? Only if there's more than one person staying in a king room with special requests for non-smoking. I didn't request a non-smoking bc I assumed they're all non-smoking now. The room on the second floor (212) on the backside of the bldg was clearly marked. This was a nice room. The owners have put in very nice flooring, nice towels, bedding, but that mattress and bugs are a deal breaker! They need to go in and lie down to check them out the beds and rooms themselves. One point deducted for the bad mattress and Beatles in the first room because I can't fault the second, larger room in any way.
Disliked: The mattress and bugs on the ceiling are unacceptable in the first room I was given.
