Post-apocalyptic Vibes

Liked: The property was close to my destination and the bed was reasonable. The hot water worked, as did the locks. I'm honestly grasping at straws here. They did allow dogs, which I needed since we were traveling with one. It was cheaper than other dog-friendly places in town but still not cheap. The staff was friendly at check-in/check-out.
Disliked: When I checked in, I was directed to my room around the back of the property, which looked like a scene out of Mad Max. First there was a ramshackle trailer with low tires parked across from the rooms. Then, there was an old van with a sign that said "Tools 4 Cheap Price" spray painted on it, with completely flat tires (and yet a pile of tires stood next to the van) and an extension cord running from the van to the rooms through a puddle. Finally, a couple was burning the branches of the parking lot trees in the BBQ and sitting around it like a campfire. Getting into the room, it smelled awful like cigarette smoke. I know that Red Roof Inn is a value hotel chain, and this is Trevose/Feasterville but I did not expect this particular property to be a total flophouse. It seemed like a holding ground for people down on their luck. It is what it is, but if you're from out of town be advised that most people staying here are not simply travelers passing through.

Liked: Great hotel. Priced fairly , amazing beds , blankets and hot showers.... NO ROACHES like other hotels near by.. this property prides itself ! Staff is accommodating! Rooms are great and some upgraded rooms even have roku stick! Great hotel !
