Liked: Location was ok.
Disliked: Too dark in there also have a smell that wasn’t pleasant. Bed and pillows wasn’t comfortable at all.

Liked: the manager was very helpful.. texted me to let me know that i could reach out to him before i arrived at the hotel with any issues or questions. used first names and made me feel welcomed.
Disliked: bathroom could have been a little cleaner. but wasnt too bad.

Disliked: I recently attempted to stay at the Red Roof Inn in Yorktown, Virginia and our experience was nothing short of disastrous. From the moment I tried to reach them by phone, I encountered a lack of customer service. No one answered the telephone, which set the tone for what was to come. Despite the hotels policy of being a non-smoking optional room, the entire building reeked of smoke. This was not just a faint odor; it was pervasive and overwhelming. While the office manager was explaining that they stand firm on their no smoking policy a man walked through the lobby with a cigarette lit. This place is a joke. When we finally got into our room we were greeted by sticky floors and the strong smell of bleach permeated the air. The bedsheets had dirty stains and even cigarette burns in them which was absolutely unacceptable. We had no other choice but to look for another hotel in the area last minute. I would never recommend the red roof Inn even to my worst enemy.

Disliked: Elevator worked sometimes. No coffee in the room. Old coffee in the lobby. No one at the front desk at least three times I went there, need to call “0”, I felt unsafe. They say no smoking? But I used the room phone to call the lobby and the cradle was full of ashes. And the phone was filthy. The smell in the room made it hard to sleep. When you first arrive it smells nice, then it wears off.
