Liked: This was a jewel of motor inn! Beautiful, immaculately clean, comfortable, well managed, and super affordable.
Disliked: The only down side of staying at the fantastic motel is that we loved this Red Roof Inn so much that we booked the next night to stay at the Red Roof Inn in East Memphis, TN, on our journey from Houston, TX to Indiana. We wrongly assumed that all Red Roof Inns would be of equal excellence, value, & high quality But the place in Memphis was a total dump! I can't believe it has the same corporate name. The cost was twice as much, rude service, an additional deposit required for a room that was dirty, moldy, cost twice as much as the room in Nacogdoches. Advertised as serving breakfast, Not so. The walls had dirt & soot, the bed had smoke burns, the lock and smoke alarm were broken. Pitiful!! We asked for our money back, we were refused. The first room they gave us was a smoking room, which we did not request-the clerk argued with us about that, too. Then finally moved us to another filthy room, but I took pictures of all the damage so he would not keep the extra $100.00 deposit required, that will be returned in 5 to 10 business days! What a total rip off & sham of a disgusting motel!

Liked: Front desk service from young lady was welcoming and helpful.. room was clean and parking was easy
Disliked: The towels. They were disgusting. The white towels had brown stains and looked revolting. They were also threadbare .. should be used for cleaning rags.
