Disliked: Hadno way to lock door. Other than standard lock here was no way to lock door from inside other than standard lock No chain or dead bolt lock.

RED ROOF INN - NEVER...

Disliked: My first flight was delayed therefore I missed my connecting flight. I called customer support at Red Roof to let them know that I would be about 8 hours late, but the person on the line did not speak English very well and seemed to brush it off without getting any specific information. When I got to the hotel late, the tv in the room turned on but did not change channels, and the night clerk could not get it to work. The next morning the day clerk did not speak English very well, was hard to understand and surprisingly rude. It's like he hates his miserable customer service job. While I expected the room to be 2 star quality, I did not expect all the noise coming from outside and especially the constant creaking and noises coming from the second floor room when it was occupied, as if the building has a structural problem. Note: the customer in the room was not noisy, just the creaking noises coming from the floor/ceiling all night long as if there was a serious structural problem with the old building. I always check the mattress and bedding for cleanliness and bed bugs. No bed bugs but the mattress cover and mattress pad had large clearly visible urine stains. All three star hotels would have thrown out mattress covers and pads that still had large visible stains.The local area had just about the coldest weather of the year. Large gaps around the left and bottom sides of the room door allowed an unacceptable amount of cold air, light and noise into the room. The wasted heating energy from my stay alone would pay for adequate weather stripping. Housekeeping; (two young males who did not speak English well) was 1 star at best. BTW: Not counting Amazon products, I write about one negative review every five to ten years. I could add more; but to sum up: RED ROOF INN - NEVER AGAIN.

Liked: OK not many options.
Disliked: Room was not clean, stains in towels and bed, light bulb out, cobwebs on light bulbs etc. Shampoo and soap bottles empty. Fortunately found maintenance guy to help.
