Red Roof brand as expected

Liked: The room is exactly what I would expect from the Red Roof brand. Clean and functional room. Beds were good, not great, but what I would expect. Clean no-frills bathroom with minimal amenities - economy brand standard. I appreciated the refrigerator, which was an extra I was not expecting but VERY happy to see.
Disliked: Check-in at a different hotel across the parking lot was not communicated in advance. It was raining and I am somewhat handicapped, so the additional information would have allowed me to avoid a wet walk across the parking lot and back.

Liked: No hot water, no security latch on door, so many things wrong plus you had to go across parking lot to check in at the new best western no staff at red roof inn office closed completely
