Liked: The staff are amazing! They are helpful, take time to answer questions, help out with when I asked questions about my reservation. The room was sparse in furnishing but very clean! The security is intimidating but reading past reviews it seems the hotel has worked hard to respond to prior concerns/complaints about security. We did not have a coffee pot and there was no coffee/tea/hot water access in lobby. This would not have been a problem if it was clear in the room description that there is coffee, fridgidare or micro wave.I am for less in amenities when the room is clean, the establishment is a safe place to stay and staff is helpful and respectful.Good price for what is provided.
Disliked: Did see on bug--not sure whether or not it was a cockroach--don't think so but so many reviews mentioned cockroaches that it set a sad expectation.The place is spotless!

fair for one night

Liked: The hotel is tired - rooms recently remodeled.
Disliked: Many of the rooms are occupied by people living in the hotel. restaurant is closed, no coffee in the room.

It was an inexpensive one...

Liked: The room was clean but the towels were small and thin. No carpets in the room.
Disliked: The facility and common areas were rundown and dirty. Only one elevator was working. Check in time was 3 pm. There was one person working the counter and a line of people trying to check in. She was moderately polite but slow.
