Not worth the money at...
Liked: I liked the front desk staff and waitress in the restaurant.
Disliked: The facility was rundown and dirty. The pool was cold and moldy. The hot tub was roped off and broken down. No pluses in the room. Very plain and no amenities to offer.

Gem on the River
Liked: LOVED the location. You have a goldmine here. Loved waking up to the river as my view and being able to walk outside to the beautiful scenery and fresh, brisk air to start my day - which I did each day!The restaurant and lobby are easy to find comfort in and I also enjoyed each of them daily.Denise at the bar was wonderful and many staffed at the front counter were also kind, helpful and lovely to interact with. Also, loved Brit in housekeeping who left me cute, positive post-it notes each time she was in my room to clean. I left her responses and we went back and forth. I thought that was cute!
Disliked: (Note to reader: I did not put the "sad face" emoji you see to the left; they did. They are also putting "what I didn't like" above what I did. This was not the order they asked the questions. Pease read the positives first. I loved this place and would prefer you to read the good parts first!)The rooms definitely need remodeling. You can tell the hotel is very old... Warping wood in furniture and door frames. The door to the outside was one I questioned whether or not someone could easily just kick in because the door and lock was so loose and rickety. (Room 132). I could say daylight thru the frame.The carpet has seen better days (I wore slippers around), and while I loved the extra wet bar, if I wasn't careful enough, I'd get sprayed in the face with too powerful a flow once the water was turned on, if I forgot to lift the lever very carefully!Some of the charging ports no longer worked and the bathroom mirror-light seemed to take about 2 seconds to actually come on, so no problem - I just stood still until it did and I could see.Lastly, the crew seemed very understaffed so if I needed something, I came to the desk to get it myself vs asking someone to bring it to me (I needed an extra blanket, one night a wine bottle opener, etc ). So those nice perks of having someone bring you these little incidentals does not exist at this hotel.Overall, I still love Red Lion and will come back. The selling points to me were location, restaurant/bar and staff. Please don't remodel too nicely or I won't be able to afford coming back!!!

Liked: Everything good ecept breakfast French toast was way undercooked and sausage was horrible
