Liked: Comfy bed, plenty of space, clean and quiet (church bells aside). Lovely view across the churchyard to the hills beyond. The pub food was okay and good value for money.
Disliked: The shower fixtures needed some attention. Bad smell of cigarette smoke in the corridor coming up from the pub's utitlity area. The free parking turned out to be a hundred yards away, which wasn't ideal in the pouring rain. The access code on the outer door was useless in that it was on the inside, not the outside!

5* In Every Way

Liked: The staff, bar, restaurant were all 5* surpassed expectations nothing was too much trouble, fabulous atmosphere the curries and lasagna were superb as were the breakfastsThe location stunningThe only negative was the accommodation which is not suitable for a less mobile person as you have to go up/down 2 very steep, narrow, staircases. (Without a hand rail) difficult carrying suitcases/bagsThe bedroom ceilings are only 6’ high, luckily we’re 5’7”, The bedroom, furnishing and view were all 5*. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Off road Parking was also literally just a few minutes walk away in a lovely public car park
Disliked: Unfortunately the 2 steep narrow staircases without a good handrail and the very low ceiling height 6’ in the bedrooms, not suitable for the less mobile or the taller person

Liked: Beautiful ‘proper’ country pub hotel, centre of the community. Super friendly and welcoming owners.Just a great experience.

Liked: Last minute booking, the staff were really welcoming, the atmosphere was brilliant and the choice on the menu was excellent and tasted great to. Will definitely stay again.
Disliked: The only downside was that the room was on the second floor, which was tough for my wife with her bad knee. But the views were worth pain.
