We were quite late checking in. I called at 11:00 pm to apologize for late arrival. The front desk clerk was very friendly, assuring me he was early awaiting our arrival. We were given helpful suggestions/directions for a late dinner. After we returned and had gone up to our room, the front desk clerk called to let us know that the hotel driver had noticed our dome light was on. Saved us a dead battery! I will return whenever I have need for a hotel in Portland.

Liked: Parking ticket was paid by front desk when our friend dropped us off. Staff was very friendly and engaging. Room and bed were very comfortable. Shuttle was very helpful.
Disliked: We had an online Zoom meeting that night. I asked the front desk person if I could borrow a second desk chair for us to attend the meeting. She asked the supervisor. Result: We didn't receive a second chair, but we were told we could do our meeting in the meeting area up front or in the lobby. We solved the problem by using the armchair in the room.

Disliked: Our room smelled like cat urine, the bathroom fan did not work at all, the bed was so uncomfortable and the overall cleanliness was not great! I was there to wish my son farewell as he left for the Air Force today and I was way too emotional to deal with it but the biggest problems were the drugs my kids witnessed being smoked right outside the doors of your hotel. You can happily check your cameras. An African American woman with a robe on sitting outside the breezeway smoking a green glass pipe in front of everyone, including my kids! Then on the second floor right outside the door to the outside stairwell is where two African American men liked to smoke their blunts full of pot. It was unfortunately not a comfortable stay at all!

A decent place to stay...

Liked: The property is a bit run down. The door across from us was cracked and we could see light coming through it.
