We will definitely be repeat...
Liked: Location is straight up perfect! And Karen, the manager, made us feel at home before we even got there. From her securing us a parking spot to sitting outside chatting it up with her, I felt right at home. There is absolutely zero chance of me staying anywhere in New Orleans but here.

Liked: Choosing this place to spend Mardi Gras and my 35th birthday was an amazing decision. Everyone at the bed and breakfast was so welcoming and helpful in navigating our trip. They had amazing tips on getting to parade routes and local restaurants and the surrounding attractions. Everything about the house is bright and colorful and beautiful. The house has such a great energy and truly felt like home. The complimentary breakfast was delicious every morning and they had 24-hour access to snacks which was great. I would love to stay here again and would recommend it to anybody going to New Orleans.Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5RoomsThe Mardi Gras room was perfect. She was very knowledgeable and you can tell she truly respects and honors the history of the house and New Orleans as a city. The beautiful vintage furniture and handmade drapery truly add to the charm of the house. So much attention to detail.

Charming house in an ideal...
Liked: The house is lovely and is in an ideal location - simultaneously quiet but steps away from the music clubs on Frenchmen street. Host was great and atmosphere in the house was welcoming. I also liked the comfortable bed.

Interesting place to stay, very...
Liked: It was clean and the staff very nice
Disliked: Parking was an issue. Street parking. Hard to find parking spots. We had to leave our car and Uber a couple of times because there might not have been parking when we returned.

Pleasant
Disliked: They only had street parking. We were fortunate that we found parking close by. We were the only guests at the b&b and if all the rooms were booked parking would have been a problem. Breakfast was nothing special.

Home from home
Liked: It was a great base for our 2-night stop-off in the city. It was like a home from home with host Karen treating us like we were family. The house is gorgeous, and each of the rooms has a different musical theme in the decor. Loved the lamps, made from paits of real musical instruments. The location at Washington Square on Frenchmen in the Maringy district is great! The Frenchmen vibe is a little more laid-back then the often rowdier nature along the nearby Bourbon Street.Loved it!
Disliked: We couldn't fault it.
