Lovely dog friendly stay

Liked: We had a couple of nights here on our way back home, ideally placed for visiting the lakes and doing some walks. Super dog friendly, nice touches like the towels by the door for little paws, a sink outside for washing them off and ‘doggy’ sausage at breakfast. Bed was very comfortable as was the room. Staff very friendly and on hand to help with anything.
Disliked: Parking can be a bit tight and gets full up, we ended up having to park on the entrance driveway.

Liked: Our room was fantastic, the views were unbelievable! Very comfortable and big bed. The hotel staff were fantastic, friendly, accommodating and gave all the attention to our dog - a wonderful place to stay.

Quiet picturesque and homely alternative...

Liked: Loved everything. Quiet picturesque location. Full of character. Warm, clean, comfortable rooms. Very good restaurant for supper, excellent breakfast, friendly staff. Will definitely return. Good alternative to busy Keswick.
