A fantastic place to stay...

Liked: The host, Helen, is lovely and offers a warm welcome. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with plenty of hanging space, tea and coffee facilities, seating areas and good showers.Breakfast is amazing, offerings include cereal, yoghurt, granola with fruits to a full English or Smoked fish. With lashings of tea and toast. All delicious!

A bliissfull relaxing B&B

Liked: Helen's a very special hostess that goes the extra mile to make sure that your time spent at Ravencar B&B is a good one. Everything was first glass tea/coffee facilities & fresh milk in the fridge, comfy beds which in the tranquil surroundings guaranteed a good nights sleep. An excellent walk in shower with a wide range of shower gels on offer. At breakfast there was a wide range to choose from from cereals, porridge, cooked breakfasts, toast, juices, teas & coffees etc all very tasty and prepared lovingly by Helen. The breakfast table was bedecked with not just the usual condiments but also some special touches like various sauce sachets in a bowl with a pair of scissors to cut them open and a bowl of toothpicks.Helen's not only a font of knowledge on all things local she's a proud Sheffield born girl that takes pride in everything she does, she even helped dig our car out of the snow!
Disliked: The weather!!

Short Stay

Liked: Helen is the perfect host, it's like visiting a very dear friend. This is my second stay, and the third is already booked. The rooms are immaculate, very well laid out with gorgeous bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Breakfast was well cooked with a good choice of cereals or Helen's 'special' of yoghurt with fruit and meusli. The location is peaceful but handy for visiting various attractions. The warmest welcome awaits you.....
Disliked: Nothing.

Comforting, friendly and relaxing.

Liked: Lovely and welcoming. Parking, relatively easy to find (although I did initially stop at the neighbours’ ). Very accommodating and knowledgable host, helped find somewhere to eat suitable for kids. Some farm horses to say hello to and a well behaved dog. Comfortable beds and nice quiet setting. Breakfast was amazing. Would book again.
