Tranquil garden retreat

Liked: Breakfast of eggs and toast, coffee and tea. Cereal option also available. All the basics provided, plus lots of CDs and books in the beautiful garden surroundings, the cottage accommodation is immediately 'next door' to the water gardens. A two night retreat, I would happily have stayed for several.
Disliked: It is well advertised that the cafe is currently closed. It is a charming facility settled amongst several large trees and with potential atmosphere to well complement a visit to the gardens, easily imagined with day visitors for tea and cake.

A great stop in the...

Liked: A great stop in the middle of nature. A wonderful garden with ponds with water lilies and waterfowl. Safe hiking trail to the waterfall, wonderful nature all around. Eggs were prepared for breakfast with everything you need. Very open and caring host. Wonderful stay.
Disliked: I would have liked to stay longer.
