Ramside Hall Hotel Golf & Spa is set within a 350-acre estate featuring 2 Championship golf courses with a combined 36 holes amid mature woodlands and lakes. The spacious bedrooms many with scenic views feature elegant décor and modern bathrooms work desks satellite TVs with Sky and BT Sports and luxurious Elemis toiletries. There are many upgrades available including use of a chauffeur-driven Bentley Mulsanne. The hotel features 4 restaurants including the award-winning Rib Room Steakhouse & Grill and Fusion with a pan-Asian menu. Pemberton's Carvery offers traditional British cuisine throughout the day and informal dining is also available in the Clubhouse. Complimentary spa access includes access to the indoor 25-yard swimming pool bubble pool steam room and sauna. Access to the hydro-pool and outdoor pool is reserved for guests on spa packages and members. During busy times guests will be limited to a 1-hour time slot and guests may be allocated access on check-in. A tempting menu of Elemis treatments is available within the Spa subject to availability. Booking is highly recommended to avoid disappointment. Just 450 yards from Junction 62 on the A1M the hotel is just a 5-minute drive from the historic city of Durham and 25 minutes from Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Newcastle Airport is a 30-minute drive away.

Cosy farmhouse, with lovely views...

Liked: Stayed in the Farmhouse.. great venue for a big group, facilities were good, but dinning table too small (especially when there were 8 of us in a house which could accommodate 10).. style of house is rustic, cosy and warm — great for a winter stay..
Disliked: Disappointed that the hot tub was not mentioned on the website which meant we didn’t bring any swimming gear so that we could use it..

Absolutely amazing

Liked: The location , view , layout of the room . It was absolutely gorgeous. Loved the private hot tub, will definitely be back.

Nice night away

Liked: Bed very comfortable and room spacious. Breakfast was great. Spa facilities great after the children left the area.
Disliked: Towels that were provided in the room were dirty- old make up stains on them. Booked to use the spa for 5pm and there was a lot of children using the pool area jumping in and out the pool and with the lack of seats available at that time had to seat close to the pool area so kept getting splashed. However pool assistants were trying their best to ensure the floor was swept to reduce the risk of any falls from the puddles on the floor as a result from the children jumping in and out the pool and using the ice bucket.
