Great location, ready SOON!
Liked: Great location, clean & comfortable.
Disliked: The property had just opened after repairs & wasn't really ready. Elevators weren't working, lights in stairwell wouldn't always turn on, no milk in the room, TV couldn't get a signal, breakfast didn't get prepared, caffe closed. We were advised breakfast would be delivered to our room, but without any table, it was best it didn't get delivered. None of these things were really an issue, but we should have been told this was the case when we booked so we could have made an informed booking. These are most likely teething problems and will no doubt be a great place to stay when this is sorted and the staff are fully informed by management.

It was very frustrating and...
Liked: They canceled my reservation on Thursday saying there was a leaking and the hotel was therefore closed. However on Friday morning i received a confirmation of the reservation and the steps to get the keys. When I arrived, I talked on the phone to the attendant that left me waiting for 15 min without any reply. Had to ring again to be told the facilities were closed.
Disliked: No clear communication by e mail or by the attendants

Disliked: Property was closed. And no one informed me. When i get there and found out it was closed for some reasons. Still charged full amount and no refunds yet.

Disliked: At check out on Dec 8th, asked if any extra to pay. Told, Nothing.Next morning $108 appeared taken from my credit card. This started the most appalling couple of months to get a refund. The amount was for a couple of breakfasts. The room rate included breakfast. So I started with a phone call. That eventually required a further 5 calls up untill 23rd of December. In most instances I was assured I would get a call back. Didnt happen, so I kept calling. On the 24th Dec, I recieved a voice message saying that a credit was going to be issued but only for $90 as there was a breakfast item to be paid for. Monday 30th I started calling again! Then again on January 6th, then sent email15th Jan then 6 more emails until 30th Jan, Some replies - we are looking in to it, We are following up with accounts.........Finally, I was given contact details of the Group Director of Operations. That took another 5 emails and 4 phone calls.Eventually she got back to me and said it should have been in your account by now. Eventually on Feb24th the $90 has arrived but its hard not to think that they felt, if we ignore him, its only $90, he'll go away. Appalling, disgraceful treatment.And not a single word of apology!!!!!Would I stay there again? Not bloody likely.

Disliked: the bad service of not being notified of closure of hotel 2 weeks before arrival, we only found out by a intercom at the front door at 7 pm. Only to be told bad luck for you.

Liked: The property cancelled the day before we were to arrive the booking was for a friday Saturday night as you can imagine prices were triple the price of the one i booked with the events in auckland that weekend. I was advised booking were transferred to The sister property bit not our booking. I realise things happen. I called to make sure the message i go via booking.com was correct they advised they would call me back. Never received a call. I then received check in details the morning of check in i called again explained the situation was told a call back would be made and never was. Very poor form
