The hotel is 7 miles from the historic Roman city of St Albans and just 4 miles from Elstree Film Studios. Wembley Stadium and Arena are a 25-minute journey by car. Will definitely book Premier Inn...

Liked: Room was a good size, bed comfortable. Great shower.
Disliked: No plug near bed, no public toilet on ground floor, breakfast not provided though paid for, voucher for greasy spoon next door is not adequate replacement and no mention of voucher system on website. Unable to buy hot chocolate in hotel only coffee.

Liked: Convenient, free parking, friendly staff, lovely room, heating was great, shower was powerful and easy to use.
Disliked: Only 1 set of towels provided for 2 people. 2nd set provided when requested.

Liked: The staff in reception were really helpful and friendly. The hotel was good value for money.
Disliked: It wasn’t the most luxurious hotel, but I didn’t expect it to be, for what I paid.

A convenient stay

Liked: The bed was very comfortable and the room was warm
Disliked: The hotel is looking very tired and in need of a refit. The grout between the tiles in the bathroom was missing and some of the tiles were loose.
