We really appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of most of the staff members, particularly Debbie at the front desk and Evone in the dining area, as well as Kiwi Ben the bartender. We would definitely stay here again! :)

Liked: We very much appreciated that the hotel staff moved us to a quieter room and when we alerted them to the fact that our air conditioner did not work throughout the night, they had someone there right away.
Disliked: Noise from other vacationers and the smell of smoke in the hallway. Our room also got very hot during the night with no air conditioning.

Liked: The room was clean. The location to the race was wonderful. View of the ocean was great.
Disliked: Staff was not very friendly nor were they knowledgeable. They could not seem to help us with any local information. When we called about where we could get ice they were annoyed and said it was in our packet (A tad of an overstatement. It was a tiny piece of paper with our key). The coffee provided in the room was old or something was wrong with it. I don't expect stellar coffee in a hotel room but at least it should smell and taste like coffee.

Disliked: Run down. The place needs a lot of work and cleaning. One elevator working. Things broke. The keypad to get in the back door from the beach, had wires and circuit board hanging out. Parking is terrible. No restuarant, it was closed, stuffed stored in it. No breakfast. Smell of Marijuana. Trash left in the hallways. Dark and gloomy. I don't recommend staying here.

Disliked: Employees kept messing up and didn’t give a welcoming speech, we had to find the carts around the corner ourselves. They promised us our family would be together and we weren’t. Tried to charge us when we paid on booking all because their “system was acting up”. Rooms are outdated; pool wasn’t warm, the water smelled and tasted bad per my husband. There was no kitchen, breakfast or any food. The bed needs to be replaced, it’s worn down where someone just sits in one spot to look out the window at the water. The tub was gross looking, paint pealing, you had to wait 30-45 mins before you could flush the toilet because it just wouldn’t flush. The chair in the lobby broke when the kids sat on it. One main elevator (didn’t find the second set until the second night just walking by the pool) the second main elevator was broken. The vending machines were not working good. Sad “game room” they post for fun.
