Enjoyed our stay; fantastic breakfast and the room was spot on.
Liked: Everything was perfect.
Disliked: Nothing.

Not value for money.

Disliked: Service charge added without being advised in the bar, breakfast had a good hot selection but could have been hotter. I had booked a suite for two too share, it had a sofa bed and when asked for bedding, I was told I would have to pay an addtional £50 on top of the room rate and that I should have advised at time of booking. At the same time was told that suites were mostly for families and not two adults travelling together.... So when you add the cost of just the room, breakfast, car parking fee and a so called additional £ 50 charge for use of the sofa bed, I would have been cheaper to go to another hotel. ( I wish I had). I also ordered a meal one. night and asked for it without some ingredients, however that was lost in translation between the staff member and the kitchen sending the meal out. I sent the meal back and it was returned to me a couple of minutes ,minus the ingredients! As for the carpark, it seriously needs updating, the stairwells are not clean

A good hotel in a...
Liked: Clean and tidy, rooms are comfortable and most staff were very friendly and helpful
Disliked: I booked 9 rooms and paid 3 days prior to our check in, also added everyone’s names to the rooms to prevent delays on check in, on arrival 1 of the rooms occupants were told the room had not been paid for and were embarrassed by this situation, in the end it was the receptionist error and they were allowed to check in, the whole check in was not swift. I feel this needs to improve as there were other folk waiting and all felt it was rather slow
