Disliked: Restaurant/ Food/Maître d/ChefAbsolutely disgraceful!After checking in on Friday 8/11/24 and heading downstairs around 5:30pm to organise a table for 6 Adults and 4 children we were met with hostility, no pleasantries, no “how can I be of service to you”, no smile - Nothing! Didn’t get her name but we’ve never met a person that works in hospitality with such a horrible attitude towards customers we felt like hindrances, so instead of spending our money on dinner there we decided to head to the boat club instead. Next morning Saturday 9/11/24 before we started our day for our Grandsons birthday we noticed she wasn’t on, so we decided we’d book a table for 10 so that we were all fed before venturing out, the young guy who was working was pleasant and friendly. We all are seated and looking forward to our HOT Buffet Breakfast …one by one we are asking each other at our table “is your food HOT”? Everything, every single item was Cold! Eggs, tomatoes, bacon, sausages, mushrooms not to mention the fresh Fruit that was sitting out, we were mortified. We aren’t people who complain - ever, but we thought we should at least mention this to the young waiter, as we were concerned about possible food poisoning especially with the eggs, he said that they had been having issues with someone mucking around with the temperature controls ? I can only assume the disgruntled Chef as he also mentioned they had been having problems with him. We also overheard someone in the kitchen speaking more loudly than they should have been and he didn’t sound happy.Needless to say there was bulk food left on every plate. Who ever is managing this place seriously needs to take a look at what is going on here!

Liked: Very nice accommodation. We liked the pools and the spa. Food was nice. Hot breakfast was nice tooReception staff was very helpful.
Disliked: The mini fridge was not cooling properly.
