Clean, comfortable and characterless -...

Liked: Comfortable bed, clean room of a good size, good clean ensuite bathroom with hot shower. Reasonable location near the centre of Scarborough. Reasonable in- room facilities for cooking your own meals.
Disliked: Fairly characterless accomodation in a building shared with a multi story carpark and a pizza delivery company. The rooms are ok but the hotel has no other facilities of its own. These are apartments rather than hotel rooms.

Very disappointing, I won’t be...

Liked: Room 118A was very average. Upon arrival, I had to insist to have a room change as we were originally given room 105 (I think) which was located at the back, next to the lift overlooking the building behind. The accomodation was very basic considering the cost. Very unimpressed.
Disliked: Being on level 1. Having to access the room / level via a separate entrance which made us feel that we weren’t part of the main building accommodation. The shower screen was so small that every time we used the shower the floor hit very wert. Not extra floor towels even though I asked for them. Towels old and scratchy Felt old and dowdy for the price !

Very good
