Ramada by Wyndham Seekonk Providence Area, Seekonk

I stayed here last week for an overnight to go to a show at the Rhode Island Connection. It was perfect - very clean and the staff was so friendly. I'm kind of sad that I didn't stay for a few more days. Anyone who has a show or anything planned near Providence stay at this hotel because it's conveniently located close to East Providence and there's a bunch of cool things around it too. Staff super friendly and helpful. Clean.

Dirtiest hotel stay I’ve ever...

Liked: I didn’t like anything at this hotel.
Disliked: The room we were put in was in some secret hall way that only one stair case went to. The room itself was not cleaned, there were false eyelashes stuck to the floor, and the floor was not vacuumed there were crumbs everywhere. The sheets were not clean they had someone’s makeup on them, the bedside table had something sticky on it. When I went down to the front desk I was told that someone could come clean the room tomorrow. I slept for a few hours on top of the sheets and checked out as fast as I could. Ended up paying $200 to stay at a hotel from hell and had to just deal with it! I will never let anyone I know stay here!

Disliked: sheets were only changed once. Coffee station was not refilled daily. Musty smell in room. TV channel lineup on screen didn't match actual shows.

Liked: Clean sheets and hot water.
Disliked: False advertising 1: the only way to make a reservation is by paying with a credit card. False advertising 2: they advertise the room as having AC when in fact it is not. They won't disclose it is not working when you get the room and only when you ask will admit it is broken. Of course, full price is charged and zero accountability for bad service.

The hotel was fine for...

Liked: The room was clean and the bedding was comfortable.
Disliked: The rooms definitely need upgrading, especially the heating/cooling and the paint job, but it worked well enough. It was expensive for what it was. In comparison, I stayed in a Courtyard by Marriott a couple of days later that cost $50 less and was much nicer.

Disliked: The rooms are extremely old and need to be updated. The hallways are narrow and feel super cramped. Our room did not have cable. Someone had cut the cable coming out of the wall. We weren't at the hotel much so we didn't say anything but it's still pretty frustrating. Also, the air conditioning didn't work in the room. We adjusted what appeared to be an ancient wall unit thermostat and instead of putting out cool air the room ended up sweltering overnight. With all that being said the hotel isn't terrible. The restaurant is good and the beds are comfortable. If you are working on a budget, this is the place to go for sure.
