Ramada Inn Portland

Liked: I would like to thank Jocelyn at the front desk for her kindness and the customer service she provided. That's the kind of integrity that makes a difference .
Disliked: My wife requires a wheelchair accessible room. The room we were given was affordable, but was not much bigger than a closet and wasn't really suitable for a disabled person

Will stay at the Ramada...

Liked: Staff was wonderful, very responsive and helpful. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage, and fresh buttermilk biscuits in addition to the usual breakfast items (fruit, cereal, waffles). Coffee was fresh ground and excellent. Bed was comfortable and the room was made up daily. Very convenient for SE Portland

Disliked: Heavy Fragrance in halls and especially in my room. Presumably it's to mask smoking, yet it was overpowering. I had to open my window and turn on circulating cool air all night long.

Liked: Convenient location for us, close to our medical appointment.
Disliked: Bad smell, strange people around, breakfast is not good anymore.

It met the need, but...

Liked: It met the needs, a place to shower and sleep. Free parking and plenty of space to park. Very close to food, coffee, and shopping options. I84 and I205 are easy to get on from the facility. The breakfast was a grab and go which was fine. The coffee machine was not user friendly, but other coffee options are near the place.
Disliked: Dark hallways and rooms could be updated. Parking lot had some interesting people and vehicles which kept me on my toes while outside walking my dog. Parking had lighting, but homeless people are in the area so be aware of your surroundings. I didn't have any issues or concerns with any of the homeless folks, other than being asked for money. But, its Portland and that will happen to you pretty much everywhere in Portland and the surrounding areas.
