Room was clean and in good condition, staff people were excellent, extremely pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. The dining on site is limited, but there are many dining opportunities elsewhere in the area. The location to downtown historic Ligonier is great with everything in short walking distance. Overall a very good experience.

Liked: Great location. Walking distance to the main town square. Breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean.
Disliked: It's an older hotel and it shows in a lot of areas. The exterior needs some landscaping and sprucing up. Parts of the interior are very nice, but the particular room I was in had a lot of prior water damage to the ceiling that hasn't quite been repaired 100%. It was liveable for sure, but not the best aesthetic.

Liked: Cleanliness of the food area needed attention, the syrup bottle was stuck to the plate it rested on with syrup. W food matched the rest of the property, neglected.
Disliked: The pool deck was sinking 2-3 inches in one section, a major safety concern. The weeds and bushes were overgrown, the paint on the wood in the entrance area was peeling badly, the staff smoked standing at the entrance, you walk through a cloud of smoke, but they did open the door for me, no charge for the second hand smoke. The a/c drains in front of one of the entrances so you walk through a stream of water when you enter. Our room was clean but the ac was not working properly. A bad thermostat I suspect. The house keeping staff were more friendly than the front desk staff. Lastly they advertise a four-star restaurant, on Tripadvisor, and the place has been closed for two years since Covid. Based on the reviews, we actually had been looking forward to having a meal there, joke on us.
