Ramada by Wyndham Fargo, Fargo

The hotel itself is not kept. The hallways are dirty - not only the carpet itself but littered with garbage. Our room had the previous stayers take out food containers with leftover smelly food in them, IN A DRAWER! The bathtub had leftover pubic hair all in the bottom. Not what I’d expect when paying $187 Canadian funds per night! Terrible.

Comfortable once I was allowed...

Liked: Check in staff was absolutely rude and told me I couldn't stay even though I had a reservation cause they over booked. After 10 mins of arguing I was finally given my room key only after telling me I could stay at a different hotel. I traveled with 5 little kids and was exhausted and just wanted to check in and get to My room. The front desk lady was an elderly lady and very rude. Cause of this I will book at a different hotel from now on.

Disliked: It was dirty, extremely under the slides. Smelled like marijuanna. Loud parties and people in the middle of the night. People in the pool in the middle of the night. Cigarette butts by outside of door #3.

Disliked: There was dirt all over the walls and window frame was dusty. I found a drill bit on the floor when u enter the room (thankfully one of my children didn't step on it) the room smelled like someone had smoked in it prior (it was very musty)

Liked: The beds and the staff. That's it. The beds were very comfortable. Rarely do I get a good night's sleep at hotels. These were really nice. The staff were pretty helpful.
Disliked: Everything else. The pool was ok. The hot tub alternates between warm and cool jets. Super strange. Even stranger is the placement of the second slide routing directly over the hot tub. So, cold water drips onto those in the hot tub. Any "breakfast included" is tough to complain about but, I promise you, there is a few things that made me weary of making a trip down on the second day. Old, slimy sausages that most likely were the culprits of my bubble guts later that day. Dry eggs. No one was using the tongs, so I skipped the breads altogether.The shower is your typical hotel shower with very little pressure but the cherry on top was the shower rod/curtain. It appeared to have been ripped off it's brackets. Therefore you're constantly pulling the curtain shut, as it keeps wanting to meet in the middle - exposing both the left and the right of the shower to the open air. Infuriating.The hotel's shortcomings have nothing to do with the staff and everything to do with apparent deferred maintenance. Too bad, too. Its a great location.
