Passable
Liked: Bed was comfortable, staff were friendly
Disliked: It felt a bit tired. The bathroom needs updating, the bath tap was dripping all night and it just felt a bit unloved.The key system for the room looked budgetI was in room 218 - maybe have a look at is yourself and see what you thinkThe eggs were overcooked at breakfast

Great stay- comfy beds!
Liked: Very comfy beds, clean rooms and free parking, staff very friendly. Also 20% off food and drinks for guests was good. We enjoyed our stay overall. Only thing is the breakfast wasn’t very good quality, didn’t seem to be filling things up that were used so no mugs or milk left and the food wasn’t great. Breakfast was included in our price so not a major issue but I would have been disappointed if I had to pay.

Satisfied with service
Liked: Room clean and spacious. Staff friendly and accommodated us to a downstairs room.

Disappointed.
Liked: Room was comfortable. Quiet room. Clean.
Disliked: Lack of willingness to help with food allergies. I am Gluten intolerant and vegetarian. There was nothing I could order for dinner. I was offered a starter instead. I asked for an omelette and 2 sides to be presented as a meal. They came as 3 separate components with the veg arriving after I had started eating. I asked for a GF pudding and was told there were none. Ice cream was on the menu, so I don't understand why this couldn't be GF...don't add any wafers. This spoilt my husband's enjoyment of his 60th birthday surprise. Shower after breakfast was awful. It started well, but I was scolded by boiling water after a couple of minutes. We couldn't adjust the temperature so turned it off. It then remained ice cold for the rest of my shower.

Liked: The toilet handle was faulty, liked the food/ breakfast. Clean but basic facilities.

Decent hotel and comfortable stay
Liked: The location is very convenient for a short drive’s access to the town and also other nearby areas in the Cotswolds. The facilities are good with ample parking and good amenities including a gym. The breakfast was decent with hot and cold options. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious.
Disliked: Not much to dislike. Some minor observations - the hotel was perhaps a bit dated but clean, the spare bed/sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable as it had a thin mattress and you could hear noises from the corridor. The air conditioning was not working but there was a fan to use.
