The room was very clean and spacious. Check in was easy. We enjoyed our stay for the event we attended. The restaurant was exceptional.

Liked: The beds were nice.
Disliked: The mess up at check in was terrible and I felt like the clerks weren't really trying to help me. They accidentally charged me double.

Loved the location, staff and the room itself.
Liked: Accomodations and the personnel.
Disliked: Needed another bartender Friday night. Two men weren't enough.

Disliked: Nothing.

Was overpriced for lack of the above mentioned things but very clean and good location. Hotel guests should not have to pay $30 for valet parking - that is steep when other hotels give parking for free. A very nice stay but disappointing and overpriced.
Liked: Clean room and great location to the Raleigh Memorial Auditorium.
Disliked: Chip out of glass in television; no refrigerator; toilet did not flush properly.

The staff at the Marriot were very welcoming as soon as we walked into the lovely lobby. All of the staff, from valet to bartenders, waitresses and housekeeping were all very gracious and to me that is the best thing a company can offer to a client. Thank You.
Liked: Very clean; excellent attitude from the staff.

I paid over $150 for a one night stay. I had to pay $12 to park in a public parking deck. The continental breakfast was $12 (each). Wifi was $9.99 to connect, and there was a $4.00 bottle of water in my room. For as much as I paid for a one night stay, you would think that all of the above would have been included free of charge. I would have also thought that the hotel would have at least covered the parking with the cost of the room. I was not informed of any of this until check in.
Liked: Nice room/hotel.
Disliked: The additional charges/parking.
