If the service levels ever...

Liked: A beautiful hotel!
Disliked: If I hadn’t have booked so far in advance there is no way I’d have been happy to pay the new room/ restaurant prices after our experience. A very high price requires a very high level of service which is sadly not met here. Poor management across bar and restaurant means guests expectations of 5* service falls short. I have no problem paying for quality food and service but when the price is high and the service standards are low it becomes an issue and is somewhere I would not choose to stay again as I would not trust that the service received meets the price paid.

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: No signage for parking or reception. Had to carry luggage from car park (which was a trek) myself. Room was tiny and had no bath. Use of the spa facilities was not included despite paying £380 per night for a room. TV in room did not work. Staff came to fix it and couldn’t get it to work. Swimming pool water extremely cold. No vegan options on breakfast buffet.

Liked: The food and the staff were fabulous. Very clean, new and comfortable
Disliked: The rooms were heavily overpriced for the standard and amenities.

Disliked: The only reason I booked to stay here for that price was to use the spa , that was down all my stay only the pool was open ,

Luxurious but not perfect

Liked: Staff very friendly, room was luxurious and spacious, food was good. The spa facilities and treatments were excellent.
Disliked: A few snags with the room, service in the brasserie was patchy. They'd only been open 1 day and were obviously having some initial issues. Expensive.

They cancelled our honeymoon with...

Liked: Nothing, they canceled on us
Disliked: This was supposed to be our honeymoon and we had it booked for over a year only to have them cancel on us at the last minute.
